LEAKSSEAL Guarantee





1. Products covered by this Guarantee



(a) This Guarantee applies only to the Leaksseal silicone-free shower tray, bath and kitchen worktop seal.

(b) This Guarantee applies only to products sold and fitted within the UK and the Republic of Ireland.  Any products purchased or fitted in another jurisdiction are excluded from this Guarantee.



2. Duration of this Guarantee



This Guarantee will remain in force for 10 years from the date of purchase of the product.



3. Cover provided under this Guarantee



(a) Leaksseal guarantees the product, for the duration of this Guarantee, against defects in design, materials and workmanship.



(b) In the case of a valid claim under this Guarantee, Leaksseal will, subject to satisfactory evidence of the defect, either provide a refund or exchange (as it considers appropriate). 



(c) Please note this Guarantee does not cover any labour costs incurred by the customer or any third party in installing any replacement product.

4. Exclusions



(a) This Guarantee applies only in respect of defects in design, materials and workmanship. This Guarantee will not apply if:

(i) the product has not been stored, fitted and maintained correctly and in accordance with Leaksseal’s instructions;



(ii) the product has been used for any purpose other than sealing a shower tray, bath or kitchen worktop or has been used in abnormal conditions;



(iii) the product has had any process or repair performed on it;



(iv) the defect is caused by wilful or accidental damage, or negligence.



(b) Please note, in particular, that the product is not intended to be used with a silicone sealant.

Any application of a silicone sealant may cause mould to occur and may invalidate this Guarantee.



(c) This Guarantee does not cover changes in the product that are naturally expected to occur due to fair wear and tear.



5. How to make a claim



(a) This Guarantee is given by Leaksseal Limited, company number 12034413, whose registered office address is at The Conifers Byley Lane, Cranage, Crewe, Cheshire, England, CW4 8EJ.

(c) Please note that evidence of the defect and proof of purchase will be required.



7. Your rights



This Guarantee does not affect any rights a consumer has in law relating to the quality of the guaranteed products. You can obtain advice about your legal rights from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
